This app has three different sections to explore represented by the three different kid buttons:
1. Discover: Kids as young as 18 months old learn new vocabulary/Christmas words with visuals of these objects. For example, four Christmas objects are shown and the voice over states the word of one of these objects asks your child to click on it.
2. Recognize: A Christmas word is shown at the top of the screen along with the visuals of the four Christmas objects AND their words. Your child must match the word at the top of the screen with one of the four visuals shown. This helps kids from 3 to 6 yeas old to recognize words.
3. Learn to read: The Christmas word is shown at the top of the screen and your child must match it with one of the visuals--but without the words spelled out. This helps kids from 5 to 7 years old to learn to read.
The app provides positive reinforcement and rewards for your child. Also, you can follow your child's progress.
Our video shows "Christmas Games" in use to help you decide if it is right for your kids.
