The most popular education iPad app for kids is iTunes U because it gives K-12 and older students access to courses and materials from schools, universities, libraries, museums, and more.
2. Toca Band
It's creative, fun, and about a band of funny looking, lovable characters that your kids control to make their own special music.
In "Toca Hair Salon-Christmas Gift" kids can stylize a Santa Claus or a Christmas tree. While this app does not have all the options of Toca Hair Salon, it has enough things that will keep every child have fun and be creative.
Kids don't need to compete on the TV show Project Runway to be creative, clothing designers thanks to "Toca Tailor Fairy Tales." This is a fun, engaging app for kids starting at 4 year old.
"Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally appisode" is a great iPad app for toddlers and preschool kids as it lets them help Mickey and his friends cross the finish line of a road rally by completing various activities. The app looks like the TV show of the same name with outstanding video play.
Regardless of age, kids love to color, paint and draw, and “Paint Sparkles Draw—my first colors” let’s children be as creative as they want. This is a fun app where kids can explore colors, textures and backgrounds and make a variety of pictures in a finger-painting style.
Based on the characters and locations from the Jake and the Never Land Pirates TV show, this app helps kids have fun and learn to count, trace shapes, identify sounds, avoid objects, collect objects, identify sounds and more.
Your kids will love this app and have fun cooking up different foods. You never know what these monsters will enjoy or hate eating. It is great the app is free to download since it is another high quality app from Toca Boca.
9. PBS Kids Video
Kids can watch their favorite PBS shows wherever you go with “PBS KIDS Video.” This free app has shows from all of the popular PBS series, including “Curious George,” “The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That,” “Dinosaur Train, “Super Why!” “Sesame Street” and “Wild Kratts.
This app helps to teach spelling, counting, vehicle names and sounds, as well as helping with spatial coordination with puzzles and encouraging creativity with the coloring book.
